Deadline to Apply Is February 12, 2010
Every ten years, we draw new district maps for Congress, the California legislature, county boards of supervisors, and city councils. These maps show the boundaries of each district. When we redraw the maps every ten years, we change the boundaries so that each district contains the same number of people. This process is called redistricting.

We are grateful for your leadership and support of the API Caucus! This year will be an exciting time for us and all of our members. We are looking forward to energizing and engaging voters, mobilizing the community, and elevating the API presence within the California Democratic Party. With Obama in office and the first Asian American family in the White House with his sister and brother-in-law, Maya and Konrad Ng, including three Asian Americans serving in the Cabinet, it is OUR TIME to empower ourselves, celebrate our community’s accomplishments, and raise our voices within the Democratic Party and be heard!
