Consistent with the Bylaws of the California Democratic Party, the Asian Pacific Islander Caucus of the California Democratic Party will strive to:

* Act as vehicle to disseminate Democratic Party values
* Implement policies of the Party in the Asian Pacific Islander communities
* Provide a forum to address political concerns of Asian Pacific Islanders
* Enhance visibility of Asian Pacific Islanders
* Promote participation and representation of its members in the Legislative, executive, judicial and political process of California
* Recruit, train and support candidates of Asian and Pacific Islander origin to run for public office
