
Northern California Chair Harris Mojadedi
Harris Mojadedi is community organizer born and raised in the Bay Area. Harris serves as a Policy Analyst at the University of California, Berkeley where he manages various systemwide and campus based fees. Additionally, Harris serves in various campus leadership roles, including serving as Chair of the Chancellor’s Staff Advisory Committee, and is a past recipient of the Chancellor’s Public Service Award.
Harris has served in various leadership positions including Chair of the Alameda County Human Relations Commission, Chair of the Union City Planning Commission, and served on various non-profit boards in Alameda County such as the New Haven Schools Foundation, Advisory Board member for SAVE, EDGE Youth Leadership Seminar.
Harris has been involved with Democratic Party politics volunteering on President Obama’s 2008 campaign. Harris serves as a member of the California Democratic Party(CDP) Rules Committee, Northern Chair for the CDP Asian Pacific Islander Caucus, Vice President of the Alameda County Asian Pacific American Caucus, board member for the SF Swana Dems Club. Previously, Harris has served as Secretary of the Tri Cities Democratic Forum, Secretary, for the South Alameda County Young Democrats. Harris has received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from San Jose State University, and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Saint Mary’s College of California.
