Southern California Secretary Vanndearlyn Vong

Vanndearlyn Vong is a President’s Scholar earning her degree in Political Science and minoring in Cambodian at California State University, Long Beach. Legislative Aide, and organizer with the Long Beach Southeast Asian Anti-Deportation Collective. She was the Field Coordinator for Dr. Suely Saro’s historic victory in November 2020, the first Cambodian American elected in the city with the largest Cambodian community outside of Southeast Asia.

Vanndearlyn is a founding member and organizer of the Long Beach Southeast Asian Anti-Deportation Collective, dedicated to the freedom of Southeast Asian people.
